Just what do those terms mean????

Text
A Web page does not suffer the physical size constraints of an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper. However, it’s generally best to limit each Web page to the text that would fit on such a sheet formatted with half-inch margins and 12-point font size. Submit your text to me in standard word processor format on a diskette. Note: Please edit it into final form before sending.

Graphics
A simple masthead (which could incorporate a logo and/or slogan), a divider line or bar (used wherever a clear break must be made on a page), a bullet for use in menus, lists and such, a background image, and still or animated icons.

Links
email back to yourself (an average of one per page), URL (an average of two per page, not counting the navigation links mentioned next)

Navigation
Internal navigation of your site is facilitated by keyword text links at the bottom of each page. (Graphical links provided for an extra fee.)

Forms
With forms you can conduct surveys, build mailing lists, auto-generate requested information , get visitor feedback and even take orders for your product.  If a form is used, it is considered as two pages and part of the site package total.

Installation
Simply put, we set up your Web site on the server of your choice . . . once you have approved the layout and design. Before the world can see your Web site, the appropriate files must be uploaded to a host server (usually your ISP). This is generally done using some form of FTP.

Information
Customers can request more information about your organisations products directly by filling out an Information Request Form.

Registration
Registration with online Search Engines (search engines are the equivalent of directories, therefore, the more you are registered with the greater the likelihood people happening across your Website). The main area of discontent among companies with a Website is the fact that not many people actually visit the site unless they have the URL. This somewhat defeats part of the object of having a site in the first place, not only do you want existing customers to see your site but you also want to generate new clients.

Animation
The quality of your site will be enhanced with animated features such as your logo animated and animated icons and other selected graphics.

Monthly Report
A monthly report highlighting the traffic on your site and a record of correspondence.

Javascript Extras
These include scolling personalised messages in the status bar and other means to add a personal touch to your site such as current time and date, countdown to 2000 and many other touches.

Sounds
A background sound (music or sound effects) can accompany visitors at your Website.

Counter
An ongoing record of the number of visitors to your site. Specialized counters available for different purposes such as a countdown counter to the year 2000.

GuestBook
A place where your visitors can register, leave comments. This is also a good way to build a regular mail or e-mail list.

Search Engine
Onsite Visitors to your site do not always have the time or the inclination to find specific information on the Internet. To accommodate this, DreamPager Designs can provide a search engine on your site for your visitors convenience.
